Provincies the Netherlands have the important task to authorise spatial plans of municipalities. This authorisation process is done by a number of experts on different issuses such as traffic, economy, environment, water management etcetera. IDgis developed a digital authorisation process in which planning maps and relevant documents are on-line available for the experts. Relevant commands and suggestions for changes of the spatial plan can be done digitally. Great advantage is that commands and suggestions are no longer fragmentary and communication between experts is encouraged.
