Are you curious and eager to learn? Do you enjoy programming? That's what makes you a perfect fit as an intern at IDgis. You will do relevant work on concrete projects. You will work on projects from design to implementation. Of course, you'll work individually, but always in close contact with one of our staff. If we are both happy about the way things are going, then you may expect us to offer you a position after your graduation. IDgis offers the possibility to work partly in the office and partly at home. The IDgis office is a few minutes' walk from Rijssen NS railway station. IDgis has good (internship) fees.

About us

We offer solutions, advice and hosting for organizations to make optimal use of geodata. IDgis serves mainly organizations that make use of their own spatial data such as government agencies, provinces, and municipalities.  IDgis is a compact and flexible company. We are at our best if we are technically challenged. We work on solutions in close contact with our clients. Preferably, we make use of open source software. The atmosphere is professional and informal at the same time. IDgis is small, but nevertheless highly valued as a specialist on geospatial software consultancy and development. Examples of (publicly visible) projects are  PlanoView, HandvatViewer, Geoportaal Overijssel, Omgevingswet software ontwikkeling en -advies.

Description of the assignments

Depending on your background, wishes and interests, we determine together, which assignment suits you best. You can think of:

• Development of service-api Omgevingsplan (Environment and Planning Act) software: the current OD-text is a desktop version, it needs to be converted to a cloud version.
• Development of the current mock-up of our GIO Management application (Omgevingsplan software) to a working version.
• Development of the current mock-up of our Regulations Version Management application to a working version.

All internship assignments contribute concretely to IDgis' projects for our clients. Software development to facilitate municipalities, provinces and the state with the implementation of the  Environment and Planning Act plays a central role.

What do you bring?

You are ready for an internship, graduation or you want to work as a working student. We expect you to be studying at a college or university level, where programming with Java and/or Javascript is part of the course. To fit in our team, it would be nice if you are curious and eager to learn. If you are in the final phase of your studies, there is the possibility of a position after successful completion of your internship. Given the nature of the work and our customers, it is important that you speak Dutch fluently.
