GIS may play a role in different stages of an automation process. We can assist you by giving advise on the consequences for your workflow, the purchase of appropriate software packages and the project set-up.
Advice on workflow
How does a new system fit in your existing workflow? Are there steps which are carried out manually at the moment, which can be automated? Who are going to work with a new system and do theuy need additional training? IDgis investigates for you the current situation in relation to the desired situation in the future.
Advice on software and data
IDgis can be helpful to select the right software and tools. This is an independent advice, since we are not bound to certain producers of software and our own software is open source. Further more we can help you with purchasing and collecting data, taking into account your budget and quality needs.
Project set-up
Finally IDgis can help you with the project set-up. What has to be done in what order? In the project setup will be defined what IDgis is planning to do. A feasibility study, definition study, risk analysis, work-flow analysis, organisation structure etcetera are all items which may be part of the project set-up. All these items can be worked out after approval of the project set-up by our client.
